Linedancers headed aross th e Channel to Jersey last weekend for a fun-filled dance extravaganza at the Mayfair Hotel, hosted by TXX Promotions.
From popular daces to golden oldies, the weekend featured a double-header from Diamond Jack on Friday and Sunday evenings, and non-stop disco till late on Saturday with DJ Doc Maverick.
Diamond Jack filled floors with a range of dances from classics like Tempted, Mr Mom and Remember When, to up-to-date hits like Grace Kelly, Don't Feel Like Dancing and Johnny B Goode.
They also played a range of dances to alternative tracks, including Kill the Spiders to Spirit in the Sky, Heartbreak Express to Saturday Night at the Movies, Black Coffee to Mustang Sally, and Lamtarra Rumba to an American Pie Megamix.
DJ and Instructor Doc Maverick taught several dances at tuition sessions during the weekend, including Latin Wiggle, Adios Amigo, Walk with Me, Choose to Dance and Let Er Rip.
Sightseeing tours around Jersey were also available through the hotel, for those who didn't want to dance till they dropped.
