A Fantastic Weekend At The Afton Hotel

Linedancers danced till they dropped at a fun-filled weekend at the Afton Hotel hosted by TXX Promotions Ltd. The bands and DJ provided a wonderful combination of new hits and golden oldies, ensuring everyone had a brilliant time dancing to all their favourites.

Vegas kicked off the event on Friday night (23rd Feb 07) with an amazing repertoire of old and new dances, including Brand New Girlfriend, Caught in the Act, Tempted and Take a Breather.

Calico's star-studded performance on Saturday kept the dancefloor packed with chart-topping dances including Feel The Magic, Pumping For Love, Heartbreaker and Leaving of Liverpool.

And Alan Gregory wrapped up the weekend with a bang, with dances including Ashes of Love and Just for Grins (to Johnny B. Goode) to get the whole dancefloor rocking, as well as classics Remember When and Just a Memory.

DJ John Bearpark and his team from Bearpark Promotions filled floors throughout the weekend, providing disco support to the bands and morning teaching sessions. Dances taught included Rockabilly Riot, That Old Soft Shoe and Behind the Clouds.

For those who didn't want to dance from morning till night, an optional excursion to Brighton was also available.
