Linedancers grapevined down to Eastbourne on 1st February for a fun-filled weekend featuring Alan Gregory, the Thrillbillies and DJ/Instructor Ron of the Ronabillies.
The weekend kicked off on Friday night with an non-stop evening of dancing with DJ Ron, playing a fantastic selection of music from golden oldies to current chart-toppers.
On Saturday night, Alan Gregory kicked off the evening with current hit Ride the River. He kept everyone on their feet with a brilliant range of dances from Kill the Spiders, NIMBY and Bosa Nova, to My New Life, Ashes of Love and Walk with me.
The Thrillbillies wrapped up the weekend in fantastic style on Sunday night with their own mix of country and current hits. They played a superb selection of dances, from Rhumba Ride, Somebody Like You and Into the Arena, to Holding Back the Ocean, A Cowboy and a Dancer and Before the Devil. They also provided alternative tracks to current chart toppers and hits, including Zjozzy's Funk (to Stuck in the Middle with You) and Islands in the Stream (to Love Changes Everything).
Throughout the weekend, the Ronabillies provided DJ support and dance tuition. Dances taught included How Long, Heel Splits and Rebel Amor.
