Linedancing Etiquette

We want everyone to have a fantastic time on our linedancing holidays. Whether you're a linedancer, couples dancer, or just want to socialise and soak up the atmosphere, we believe everyone is equally important. To make sure everyone has good time, we ask that all our guests keep this general linedancing etiquette in mind during their stay with us..

Linedancing Dos
Linedancing Don'ts
Listen to the DJ - he'll designate the dance and count you in Please don't bring food / drink onto the dancefloor
If the floor is crowded, enjoy the company but take small steps and watch for collisions Don't start a different dance to the one the DJ / live act designates unless there is plenty of room
Remember the floor is for everyone. Linedancers, please leave room for the couples dancers. Couples dancers, please leave room for the linedancers as well Don't walk through the dancers to cross the floor, go round the edge or wait for the dance to end
Please encourage and support beginners - you were one once!! Don't block the outside lines, start new lines instead
When starting off a dance, please go to the front so others can line up behind you If you have children with you, please don't let them run around or across the dancefloor. It is dangerous for the children and dancers as well
Please go off the dancefloor if you want to chat Don't hog the floor to "perform" or show off
Keep noise levels down during teaching session Please don't talk over the instructor, it is very confusing for those trying to learn
Please show your appreciation to our live acts, DJs and instructors. They are working hard to make your weekend a success!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:

KEEP SMILING AND HAVE FUN!
